If you miss a payment (for example, due to your credit card being denied) you have a grace period of 30 days during which your insurance will remain valid, as long as you pay your premium within this period.
Any claim that occurs during this period will be paid only after you have paid your premium.
If 30 days have passed, you will no longer have any coverage. The insurance company may cancel your policy or, if you paid your premium after more than 30 days have passed, it may require a new medical application in order to reinstate your policy.
