All insurance companies have exclusions listed in the policy wording. Exclusion means that the company will not pay for the treatment of a certain condition, and it will not be counted towards your deductible.
Standard exclusions in most insurance companies include pre-existing conditions (unless declared on your application and approved by the insurance company before joining), professional sports (where you're paid to participate), dietary consultations and supplements, treatments that are not medically necessary, chemical exposure and other conditions.
It's important that you read the exclusions section on your policy wording thoroughly to understand if any treatment you may require is not covered.
