International health insurance is usually designed as a 12-month contract. Changes in your insurance policy can be made only when your policy is being renewed. Therefore, your deductible, plan choice or area of coverage can only be modiļ¬ed once a year.
The only exception is the addition or removal of new dependents (like your spouse or a new child) which can be done at any time.
It's important to know that if you are increasing your level of coverage (for example changing to a more comprehensive plan, extending your area of coverage or reducing your deductible), your request will need to be accompanied by a new complete medical health application, and will be subject to the approval of the insurance company at the time of change, based on your current health situation.
New dependents will also be required to complete a health application in order to be added to the policy.
